The cost of web design depends on the amount of time and effort required to breath life into a site. If you know what you want to say, have your text edited, have pre-existing images, the process is cheaper than if you only have a general idea, no images, and you need someone to create the copy.

An original design for a 10 page site is about $85 a page. That includes page layout, menu installation, keyword /description metas, 1 photo per page (editing/scans), pre-publish testing and adjustments, and 3 months of maintenance. This assumes you have the text in a word-editor and have photos/images available.

If you require custom work, logos, flash development/flash template customizing, ecommerce development, OCR transcription, submission to search engines, quizzes, surveys, animation, or brochures, the price depends on the complexity of the work. You will be quoted a fee based on the estimated time and materials needed to get the job done. Flash templates customizing depends on how much the template has to be edited to fit your content. Please provide specific details.

The cost of your domain name and Internet Service Provider (ISP) are separate from the design, and depend on the provider. They can be as low as $72 a year for shared hosting, or much more if you require databases, streaming video/audio, or large bandwidth.

E-commerce requires an account with a secure-socket cart, and either a standard merchant account, or an online merchant gateway account. The monthly cost of these accounts is separate from our charges. It is possible to set up web page links to a Paypal account, but since that requires your customer to set-up a Paypal account, it is not as effective. Average costs for customizing an e-commerce cart range about $70 per hour, less if we are familiar with the system.

If you need something outside our range of expertise, we have a wide range of colleagues who can provide services more specialized than our own. They set their own prices, and bill separately.

In the interests of working with interesting material, we reserve the right to decline certain types of sites. We require that sites we work with that offer medical, financial, or other professional services have the appropriate licenses and expertise to practice those services.

Non-profits may be eligible for reduced prices. Please inquire with specifics.
